Chris “Kit” Clements
Kit was an avid historian, writer and enthusiast for Britain’s folklore and ancient landscapes. He drew inspiration from old landmarks, local legends and the mysteries that survive at the edges of recorded history.
Writing as Kit Andrews, he created richly imagined tales in which mythology, history and the British countryside meet. The books of the Wayland the Smith saga reflect the qualities he brought to his storytelling: curiosity, depth, imagination and an enduring respect for the past.
Kit’s work invites readers to look again at familiar landscapes and wonder what stories may still lie beneath the surface. That invitation — to be curious, to imagine and to remember — is a fitting part of his legacy.
